2008 has been a most successful and exciting year for Chester Weber. Chester Weber's horse Jamaica has been nominated for USEF 2008 Horse of the Year and Chester himself has been nominated for the 2008 USEF Equestrian of the Year. Jamaica winning Horse of the Year would be especially exciting as he is a rescue horse and proves just how far a once unwanted horse can go.
Chester Weber's name has become synonymous with four-in-hand driving throughout the world. Chester won his sixth consecutive National Championship title in March, 2008 at the Budweiser Live Oak International combined driving competition in Ocala, Florida. He continued to compete in Europe where he won the Time Shuttle prize at the prestigious CHIO Aachen. Chester went on to win the 50th Anniversary of the German Fahrderby (Driving Derby) held at Riesenbeck. He solidified his ranking as one of the top Four-in-Hand drivers in the world by finishing first in the dressage phase and taking home the Individual Silver Medal at the World Driving Championships.
In addition to his rigorous competition schedule, Weber actively promotes the sport of combined driving. He serves at the highest levels of the sport in the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF). He is currently on the Board of Directors, the High Performance Driving Committee, the National Driving Committee, the Safety Committee and he is also Chairman of the Active Athletes Committe
"We use several products from Equilite. We were hooked on this company's products soon after we started to use them. I especially like the Sore-No-More Liniment for large muscle groups and to use as a back brace. Equilite's natural ingredients (arnica) are superior to use and provide no harsh chemicals that could be harmful to our horses. I also like the fact there is no alcohol in them as alcohol can dry out their skin and dull their coats. These are naturally good products, obviously created by people who understand horses." ... "We have had excellent results using Equilite's Sore-No-More natural liniments, poultice, hoof packing and Horse Spray. In an era when we are seriously drug testing our athletes; it lends an importance to using all natural ingredients in our administrations. I have seen my horses respond very well to the liniment and I especially like the back brace for my driving horses."
