Jenny Lance and Angelia Robinette-Dublin met in 2002 when both attended an apprenticeship on the John Lyons style of horsemanship. Over the next few years, they learned together and received certifcation from Kathy Huggins, a John Lyons trainer, in 2005. Having become best friends who have like philosophies on horsemanship, they decided to work together under the name "Live To Ride."
They believe that trail riding and recreational riding deserve attention. They are adamant that a well-trained, responsive trail horse is a "must" and they are committed to helping others develop the necessary relationship and communication with their horse to be safe and have fun.
Both continue to study horses and horse behavior. Angelia received her Josh Lyons Accredited Trainer status in 2008 and has ridden in clinics with John Lyons and Stacy Westfall. Jenny continues to study other programs such as the Parelli system and to ride in clinics with other trainers such as Curt Pate, Stacey Westfall, Carel Eijkaneer, Julie Goodnight, and Lynn Semingson.
Angelia and Jenny make a great LIVE TO RIDE TEAM with complimentary styles and strengths. These ladies mirror the majority demographic of recreational riders today. With their enthusiasm and knowledge, they have been invited to present at both the Ohio and Eastern States Equine Affaires. Live To Ride offers clinics that focus mainly on creating a Performance Trail Horse.
Angelia breeds and raises Foundation Quarter Horses and participates in extreme trail riding, ranch versatility, and cow working disciplines out of her farm in Lexington, TN. Jenny particpates in dressage, some cow working, and extreme trail riding from Athens, OH.
